How to Use :

Use the two-headed spoon provided.

Age Dosage Maximum dose in 24 hours

1 - 2 years One small 2.5ml spoonful twice daily at least 4 hours apart Two small 2.5ml spoonfuls (5ml)

2 - 6 years One small 2.5ml spoonful every 4 - 6 hours Six small 2.5ml spoonfuls (15ml)

6 - 12 years One large 5ml spoonful every 4 - 6 hours Six large 5ml spoonfuls (30ml)

Adults and children over 12 years Two large 5ml spoonfuls (10ml) every 4 - 6 hours Twelve large 5ml spoonfuls (60ml)

Precautions :

Do not use if MAOI medication is being taken, or if there is known hypersensitivity to antihistamines.

Avoid alcoholic drink.

May cause drowsiness - if affected, do not drive or operate machinery.

Children under 12 months: Not recommended.

Ingredients :

Each 5ml of syrup contains 2mg of Chlorphenamine Maleate as the active ingredient.

Also includes Liquid Sucrose, Ethanol and a mixture of Methyl, Ethyl and Propyl Hydroxybenzoates (E218, E214 and E216). See leaflet for further advice.
