Nutrini Energy Multi Fibre is a Food for Special Medical Purposes for use under medical supervision. Nutrini Energy Multi Fibre is a nutritionally complete 1.5kcal/ml tube feed, with fibre, for the dietary management of disease related malnutrition in children aged 1-6 years or 8-20kg in body weight, with increased nutritional requirements and/or requiring fluid restriction. It contains 0.8g/100ml multi fibre, providing 63% soluble and 37% insoluble fibre. Nutrini Energy Multi Fibre is suitable as a sole source of nutrition.

How to Use :

Shake well before opening. Use at room temperature. Collapsible bottles can be attached directly to a Flocare pack giving set. When directly connected to a giving set (aseptically handled, closed system), collapsible bottles have a hanging time of max. 24 hours. If the cap has been removed (used as an open system) then collapsible bottles have a hanging time of max. 8 hours.

Storage :

Store in a dry, cool place (5-25°C) and away from direct sunlight. Once opened, store closed bottles in a refrigerator (<5°C) for maximum 24 hours. Discard any unused contents after 24 hours.

Precautions :

If a child is prescribed the product for the convenience of low volume and a shorter feeding time, it may be necessary to give additional fluids to meet requirements. If a child at the lower end of the range for age and weight is prescribed only a small volume of feed, it may be necessary to give an additional vitamin/trace element supplement to achieve requirements for micronutrients. Not suitable for infants under 1 year of age. Not suitable for patients with galactosaemia or requiring a fibre free diet.
