Care Calamine Lotion is a mild astringent and antiseptic that relieves the symptoms of mild sunburn and minor skin conditions. It is not considered likely to cause any undesirable effects during pregnancy. However, women who are pregnant, might be pregnant or are breastfeeding, should talk to their doctor or pharmacist before using this product as medicines can affect the unborn baby.

Calamine cream and lotion works by evaporating after being applied to the skin, which produces a cooling effect to ease itchy feelings. This cooling effect helps to relieve sunburn.1 

Get out of the sun as soon as possible

Cool the skin with a cool shower, bath or damp towel (take care not to let a baby or young child get too cold)

Apply aftersun cream, spray or product such as Care Aqueous Calamine Cream. Used for relief of the symptoms of mild sunburn and other minor skin conditions. Contains Calamine 4.0% w/w and Zinc Oxide 3.0% w/w. Always read the label.

Drink plenty of water to cool down and prevent dehydration

Cover sunburnt skin from direct sunlight until skin has fully healed"
