Buttercup Syrup gives rapid relief for symptoms of coughs, colds and sore throats.

It contains two active ingredients which help it to do this:

Squill liquid extract, which is a plant extract and has a mild expectorant effect. This means it loosens mucus by making it thinner, therefore making it easier to cough up, and allowing you to clear you airways easier.
Capsium Tincture, which gives the medicine an aromatic, warming flavour.
These ingredients combine with a syrup base which coats and soothes the throat and relieves irritation.

How to Use :
 Adults and children over 12 years of age:
Two 5ml spoonfuls, three times a day and at bedtime when the cough is troublesome.

This medicinal product contains 1.32g fructose, 1.32g glucose and 1.77g sucrose per 5ml dose. This should be taken into account in patients with diabetes.

Use within 28 days of first opening. Do not use after the expiry date shown. Do not use if the bottle cap seal is broken or damaged.
