BENYLIN® Dry Coughs contains dextromethorphan which helps to suppress the cough mechanism, and helping you to feel better.

What is a dry cough?

A dry cough is also known as a non-productive cough because it does not produce any phlegm. Dry coughs are caused by an inflammation of the upper airways caused by dust, foreign bodies or an infection.

How to Use :
 Only available at the pharmacy counter

For oral use only.

Do not use more than the stated dose shown.

Dosage: Adults and children aged 12 years and over: Take two 5 ml spoonfuls every 4 - 6 hours, four times a day

Not suitable for children under 12 years.

Do not take more than 4 doses in 24 hours. If symptoms persist, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
Storage :
Do not store above 30˚ C.

Please read the leaflet carefully before use. DO NOT EXCEED THE STATED DOSE. This medicine can make you feel sleepy. Do not drive while taking this medicine until you know how it makes you feel. This medicine may cause opioid-like effects when used at high doses. As with all similar medicines, if you are pregnant or breast-feeding, consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking this product. Do not store above 30˚ C. Do not use if bottle seal is broken when purchased. Keep bottle tightly closed. Keep out of the sight and reach of children.

Ingredients :
Dextromethorphan hydrobromide 7.5mg/5ml. Contains Liquid glucose, Sucrose, Sorbitol solution 70% non-crystallising, Ethanol 96%, Glycerol, Saccharin sodium, Citric acid monohydrate, Sodium benzoate, Caramel T12, Imitation peach flavour (ethanol, propylene glycol), Levomenthol, Carbomer, Purified Water.
