Balneum Plus Cream relieves itching and increases moisture in dry skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis and other scaling skin conditions, all of which worsen when the skin is allowed to become dry. The easily absorbed cream contains two active ingredients and has been shown to increase skin moisture for up to 24 hours:

Lauromacrogols: this relieves itching, has a soothing and softening effect on your skin and replaces the much needed oils in your dry skin to help to prevent loss of moisture.

Urea: a substance found naturally in the skin that helps the skin retain water. Many people with eczema and psoriasis have reduced amounts of urea in their skin.

Balneum Plus Cream can be used by adults (including pregnant women), the elderly and children (talk to your doctor before using in children).

How to Use :

Always use Balneum Plus Cream exactly as your doctor has told you. You should check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Using clean hands, apply the cream to the affected areas twice a day until the symtoms have eased.

Your doctor will tell you for how long you need to use Balneum Plus Cream.

Precautions :

Talk to your doctor before using Balneum Plus Cream in children.

Balneum Plus Cream may cause irritation if applied to broken or inflamed skin.

Avoid contact to mucous membranes and eyes.

Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking other medicines. Urea may increase the penetration through the skin barrier of other topically applied medicines (e.g. corticosteroids, dithranol and fluorouracil) when used at the same time.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding: Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine. Balneum Plus Cream can be used during pregnancy. Do not use this medicine on the breasts immediately prior to breastfeeding.

Ingredients :

Active Ingredients: Urea 5% and lauromacrogols 3%.

Other Ingredients: Dimethicone, phenyl dimethicone, liquid paraffin, cetylpalmitate, stearic palmitic acid, octyldodecanol, glycerol 85 %, polysorbate, carbomer, trometamol, benzyl alcohol and purified water.
